Foundation
Commissioned artwork for the H. E. Butt Foundation’s office in San Antonio, Texas, featuring six unique fabric wall hangings made with custom-printed fabric. Drawing from archival imagery and personal photographs taken at the foundation’s Texas Hill Country retreat center, the compositions explore the layered canyon landscape, the variegated blues of Blue Hole, and the diverse flora along its trails.
Summer House
on Music Lane
Custom wall hanging commissioned for Austin-based restaurant Summer House on Music Lane, inspired by the restaurant’s interior design, the natural beauty of Texas watering holes, and mid-century modern architecture’s emphasis on bringing the outdoors in. The piece features over 20 yards of custom-printed fabric incorporating altered photographs of nature from my personal collection.
WeWork
Commissioned fabric installation for WeWork co-working space. The completed work is 30 feet of sewn custom silk fabric. Drawing inspiration from the sites’ location and its proximity to nature, the large-scale fabric work incorporates imagery from personal photographs of natural landscapes.
Facebook AIR
Collaboration with Will Bryant for Facebook Artist In Residency Program in Austin, TX. Over the course of six weeks, 52 custom yards of fabric were produced for the large-scale installation. A complementary mural was painted at the adjacent stairwell.
